Bates City Woman Injured When One Altima Crashes Into Another

A Bates City woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday afternoon in Jackson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2016 Nissan Altima, driven by 54-year-old Tiffany Y. Pavlica of Bates City, was on Route F, north of Al Gossett Road (NE of Lone Jack) around 5:20 p.m. Thursday, when she slowed to make a right turn, and a southbound 2016 Nissan Altima, driven by a 16-year-old male, failed to slow down and struck the rear of the Pavlica Nissan.

Pavlica suffered serious injuries and was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by EMS for treatment.

Both Nissan Altimas were totaled and towed by Ron's Tow of Lee's Summit.
