Kids, today's Stash is a song that you may or may not be familiar with if you listen to the evening show here on BOB-FM.

Oasis were an English band that came to massive popularity in Europe and America in the 1990s.  Their biggest record was an album called 'What's The Story, Morning Glory.'  You probably know that album pretty well, with hit singles like "Wonderwall," "Champagne Supernova" and "Don't Look Back In Anger."

The band's creative force were two brothers, Liam and Noel Gallagher.  Liam mostly did the singing, and Noel did the songwriting.  But occasionally Noel would also do the singing, like he did on "Don't Look Back in Anger" and this song off a later album 'Don't Believe The Truth,' called "The Importance of Being Idle".  The video stars Rhys Ifans, who you might remember from the movies 'Notting Hill,' 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt 1' and The Amazing Spider Man.

It's a fun song, a fun video, and an example of how sometimes the later tracks can slip by you if you know only a group's heyday.

Idly yours,

Behka
