Gremlin Boys Stay Home For Quad
The Sacred Heart Gremlin boys golf team competed in a Quad Monday at Sedalia Country Club.
The Gremlins brought home a 1st place finish shooting a team score of 178 narrowly beating out Tipton with a 181 and Saint Paul with a 218.
The team was led by Sr Luke Jenkins who covered all areas of scoring by firing three pars, three birdies and three bogies for an even par = 35 for the stand alone 1st place win.
Junior Zander Jackson came in 3rd by carding two birdies, three pars and two bogies for a 7 over 42.
Next step for the gremlins was Junior Grant Goodwin who was again, consistent with six bogies and a par for a 5th place 44 finish.
Senior Spencer Aeschbacher and So. Thomas Jenkins rounded out the varsity score by both bringing home a 57 Spencer getting one bogey and Thomas two bogies.
The junior varsity was led by both Tyler Twenter and Kaleb Schaffer, shooting a 59. Tyler had two pars and Caleb had two bogies. James Russell had one par and one bogey for a 61 and Austin Perez finished the day with one bogey, 63.
