Missouri State Fair Rock Acts: Here’s Who YOU Want to Play at The Fair

Kids, awhile back we asked you here on BOB what acts you'd like to see come to the Missouri State Fair concert stage this year. Now, we have some of your responses!

Most of the responses were actually pretty similar. You want new acts, or acts that haven't been here before. This listener wants to see some alternative acts, like Grammy winners Fun.

Fun or any current pop, rock, or r&b concert would be nice. I love country, but the state fair only does country. We need something new. Went to Nickelback and Puddle of Mud nine years ago and it was amazing.

There is a big audience out there for contemporary Christian artists, and that would be bringing a different flavor to our concerts.

Christian Artists such as: Mercy Me, Casting Crowns, Big Daddy Weave...any of the bigger name christian artists that they play on the christian radio stations. As far as others... some of the American Idol people.

Another suggestion for newer acts! Alternative music is alive and well in Sedalia. But, others wanted to bring Train, Journey, Staind or maybe Kid Rock
