On Saturday September 3rd, the Sedalia Kiwanis Club will sponsor the Kiwanis Kids Day in the Park. Now you might be asking, what is the Kiwanis Club, and what do they mean by "Kid Day"??

Well, luckily for you, I can answer those questions for.  The Sedalia Kiwanis Club is a local organization that works to make children's lives better.  Kiwanis clubs focus on changing the world by serving children, one child and one community at a time. They do that on a local level by helping out kids in Sedalia and the surrounding area, and also globally by working to eliminate Tetanus.  But they're not all serious all the time, and that's what this Kids Day is for.  It's just a good old fashioned hangout in Liberty Park.
I got to talk with Ann Dove, one of the Kiwanis members, about what you can expect:
There will  also have face painting, train rides, a treasure hunt and much more.
There will be hot dogs, chips and a drink provided meal for all kids taking part.  You might even see Boyfriendo and I there, since I'm in the Kiwanis club.  For more information on anything - the Kid Day or even about joining up -contact Ann Dove at 660-527-3794.
Funnily yours,
Behka
