Today (Jan. 29) is the start of the 29th Annual International Blues Competition in Memphis.  Hundreds of blues bands, musicians, and singers will be competing to see who the brightest new stars are in the blues Industry.  This year a couple of acts competing (after winning local competitions) are artists that have played around Sedalia, some of them regularly.
