Well, the Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival gets started today, with the headliner being Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros taking the main stage around 10 p.m. Saturday is the big day, and the shows start around noon. I'm looking forward to seeing the new King of the Roots Band and of course the man, the myth, the legend: The Reverend Al Green.

We're just a few short weeks away from the Roots N Blues Festival in Columbia. Like I told you last week, I am going to write a few articles on some of the stars appearing there this year. One of the artists that intrigues me the most is John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers. They are appearing Saturday after Trampled Under Foot and before Al Green.
