The Central Missouri Ag Club is happy to announce the winners of their annual photo contest. This year’s theme was “This is MY Agriculture.” Winners received $100 for first place, $75 for second and $50 for third place in both the youth and adult division.
This Saturday (Dec. 14), Ace's Bar and Grill in Tipton will be holding a benefit for the family of Chad Stover, who recently passed away after an injury he sustained during a high school football game. There will be a $5 cover at the door, with all proceeds going to the Stover family, and local band Dirt Road Addiction will be playing from 8:30-12:30.
Local Tipton student Chad Stover tragically passed away recently. Although gone, Chad is definitely not forgotten, and the community has rallied around his family with an outpouring of support. Several fundraisers have been planned, including one this Wednesday (Nov. 20) at Colton's Steakhouse in Sedalia.
A representative from the University of Missouri Health Care System has confirmed that Chad Stover, a Tipton football player who suffered a severe head injury in a football game against Sacred Heart on Oct. 31, passed away on Thursday morning (Nov. 14).

With minutes left in the game, he suffered a severe head injury and was flown over to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. People in the area have been pouring out support for Chad and his family.
