Forget Bieber-mania. It's time for David Bowie mania. With the release of his new album 'The Next Day' due next month, it seems as though everybody -- including 'X Factor' boss Simon Cowell -- wants a piece of rock's legendary chameleon.
Fox's 'X Factor' got a bit of surprise star power Wednesday night when Sophie Tweed-Simmons, daughter of Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed, auditioned for the singing competition, impressing the judges enough to be passed along to the next round.
We’re not quite sure how it happened, but all of a sudden, accepting a judges’ position on a reality competition series is the hippest thing to do — and with everyone from Steven Tyler to Britney Spears getting in on the action, Rod Stewart has decided to join the fun by filling in for Kelly Rowland on the U.K. version of ‘The X Factor.’
