B&B Brings Massive Upgrades To Warrensburg Theaters This Spring
"We are incredibly excited to welcome back the Warrensburg community to a completely reimagined and upgraded theater."
When AMC closed the Warrensburg Theaters, and B&B stepped in to run them, people excitedly hoped for some theater upgrades. Boy, if you enjoy movies, the upgrades are worth the wait.
B&B Theatres have announced the tentative date for the grand reopening of Warrensburg's theaters, now known as the B&B Theatres Warrensburg 10. The theatres, pending final inspections and approvals from the City of Warrensburg, will reopen on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
After taking over the lease of the building at 386 Hawthorne Boulevard from AMC Theatres, B&B kept the theatres closed as they embarked on a full-scale remodel of the theatres.
The renovations include ten screens, approximately 630 seats, fully heated electric recliners, and two Premium Large Format B&B Theatres Grand Screens. According to a press release from B&B Theatres, these screens deliver an unrivaled audiovisual experience with cutting-edge projection and sound technology.
In the press release, Brock Bagby, President of B&B Theatres, says, "We are incredibly excited to welcome back the Warrensburg community to a completely reimagined and upgraded theater. Our team has worked tirelessly to transform this location into a premier entertainment destination with the latest cinema technology, unparalleled comfort, and an expanded menu of food and beverage options."
In addition to the two huge Grand Screens and heated recliners, B&B Theatres is adding its Marquee Bar & Grill. This full-service bar and kitchen will sell handcrafted cocktails, various beers and wines, and a menu of hot entrees, appetizers, and snacks.
In any auditorium, guests can enjoy hot, made-to-order meals or snacks from the kitchen and an almost endless choice of soft drinks from Coca-Cola Freestyle Machines.
B&B Theatres is a Missouri company headquartered in Liberty. It has been family-owned and operated since 1924 when Elmer Bills Sr. opened a movie house in Salisbury, Missouri, where the future Mrs. Bills played the piano for silent movies. Four generations of the family have been involved in the theatre chain's operation, and B&B Theatres has seen the coming of sound, color, Technicolor, stadium seating, multiplexes, recliners, and now digital cinema.
