One of the things I've learned about Missouri in the several years I've been here is that Missourians take their pork tenderloin seriously—almost as seriously as Texans. It just so happens the best pork tenderloin in Missouri can be found at this legendary Missouri steak house.

Family Destinations Guide Says Jess and Jim's Steakhouse has the best pork tenderloin in Missouri.

You won't go wrong if you're considering going to Jess and Jim's for a big 'ol juicy steak or the pork tenderloin. Family Destinations Guide's article on the pork tenderloin at Jess & Jim's reads like a love letter to the restaurant because it's so much more than a place to park your behind and enjoy a meal. Family Destinations Guide says Jess & Jim's offers a no-frills, homey environment, allowing the focus to remain on its food. Yet, it's easy to see the article's author wasn't just taken by pork tenderloin, the author loved everything about the place.

Here's what the Family Destinations Guide says about the pork tenderloin. "You haven’t lived until you’ve had a pork tenderloin that makes you question every other piece of pork you’ve consumed in your life."

The author raves about the pork tenderloin, saying it was cooked so perfectly that it belongs on the magazine cover. He continues that it's tender enough to cut with your fork but substantial enough to remind you this isn't some wimpy meat.

Is there a better advertisement ever for a restaurant than that?

Pork Tenderloin on the Jess and Jim's Menu

Looking at Jess and Jim's Steakhouse's menu, they have a pork tenderloin dinner. However, online, it's under the lunch menu. Listed on the dinner menu, they have a pork tenderloin sandwich. Whether that's a website mistake or whether they'd rather you order their pork chops during dinner hours, I don't know. It is something to be aware of.

The pork tenderloin dinner is also hand-breaded, fried, and topped with their rich cream gravy; it's also $14.99 and is served with choice of potato and vegetable, and you can add a house salad for $1.99.

It's one of the more affordable options for dinner, as their steaks range from $30.00 to $70,00, depending on the cut and how large or small you want the steak. For lunch, it's competitive with many of their other menu items.
