A Cole Camp couple were injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Saturday morning in Morgan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2014 Ford F-150, driven by 78-year-old Victor W. Evans of Cole Camp, was on Route D, 322 feet north of Catnip Road around 10:15 a.m., when a northbound 2004 Chevy Silverado, driven by 49-year-old Nelson S. Weaver of Versailles, attempted to pass the Ford just as Evans had slowed down to make a left turn and the Ford was struck by the Chevy.

Victor Evans and his passenger, 77-year-old Bonnie J. Evans, also of Cole Camp, suffered minor injuries, and were transported to Capitol Regional Medical Center in Jeff City by Mid-Mo Ambulance for treatment.
