Lincoln Grassroots Fly-In Scheduled for September 13

The Lincoln Annual Grassroots Fly-In will be held Saturday, September 13, or Saturday, September 27 in the event of rain, at the Lincoln Municipal Airport, 101 Airport Drive in Lincoln, Missouri.

Donations are free will. All proceeds from the event will be used to make improvements required by the FAA and to preserve one of the few public grass air fields left in the state.

Coffee and donuts will be served to the public and pilots in hanger number three from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., and lunch will be provided from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. No alcohol is permitted on the premises.

There will also be door prizes from local merchants and restaurants.

All types of aircraft are welcome.

Pilots, watch for traffic: please monitor and use 122.9 CTAF, elevation 940’ Standard, Left Traffic. Not responsible for accidents.
