S-C JROTC Drill Meet is February 17

The Smith-Cotton High School JROTC program will host their 18th annual Drill Meet Saturday, Feb. 17 starting at 8 a.m., at Smith-Cotton High School, 2010 Tiger Pride Blvd.

Over 20 teams from across Missouri are expected to compete at the indoor event. Admission is free.

There will be all-you-can-eat pancakes that morning for $5, and concessions available throughout the day, including chicken nuggets.

In addition, there will be a people's choice award presented, and a silent auction.

The awards ceremony will take place in the afternoon, most likely around 2:30 or 3 p.m.
