Update: Alexander from Sedalia found the coin about 3:45 PM on Friday, March 14, 2025. It was hidden in Katy Park near some blue benches on uneven ground near the playground equipment. Twine was sticking out, which then let him pull the coin out.

How To Win

Starting Monday, March 3, we'll reveal clues in the form of a daily limerick on Mix 92.3 and Kix 105.7 at 9:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 5:00 PM. The daily limerick will also be available on the Mix 92.3 and Kix 105.7 apps by Noon each day. Use the clues in the limericks to figure out where we hid the coin in Sedalia.

During the contest run dates, the person who finds the coin and presents it in person at the Townsquare Media Studios, 2209 S. Limit, Sedalia 65301, will win the pot of goodies.

This contest is open to participants 21 years of age or older.

The Limericks

One limerick will be read by the air personalities on Mix 92.3 and Kix 105.7 each day at 9:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 5:00 PM. This limerick will also be posted daily on the station apps by noon. One limerick will be read daily starting Monday, March 3, 2025. The final limerick will be read on Friday, March 14, 2025.

If the coin is found before the end of the contest, we will announce our winner and conclude the contest.

Warning! Be Cool, Don't Be A Fool

You will not have to dig or need tools to find our coin. Please don't tear things up or make a big mess. Additionally, please stay away from private property and always show respect to fellow players or anyone else you encounter on your journey to find our coin. There's no need to break any laws to win this contest.

The Fine Print

The following are the specific rules for this contest; in addition to these specific rules, Townsquare Media's General Contest Rules apply. You can read those here.

1. KSDL and KXKX will provide one clue/limerick read three (3) times daily on each radio station near the top of the hour at 9:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 5:00 PM CST. Additionally, the limerick will be posted on the KSDL and KXKX websites by noon daily.
2. Clues/limericks will air every day of the week, including Saturday and Sunday.
3. There will be a clue/limerick every day starting March 3, 2025, and concluding March 14, 2025.
4. The contest will be concluded if the coin is found before March 14, 2025, and turned in to the radio station. When the station is aware the coin has been found, we will cease providing clues.
5. The person who finds the coin must bring it to Townsquare Media studios, 2209 S. Limit Avenue, Sedalia, MO, 65301, during regular business hours (8:00 AM—5:00 PM Monday through Friday) to claim the prize package.
6. After the contest concludes on March 14, 2025, our winner must present himself or herself at the radio station before 5:00 PM CST on Monday, March 24, 2025, to claim the prize package.
7. If no one presents themselves and the coin at the Townsquare Media studios by 5:00 PM CST Monday, March 24, 2025, to claim the prizes, Townsquare Media Sedalia-Warrensburg will run an enter-to-win contest on the KXKX and KSDL apps open to all qualified listeners and award the prize package to one winner chosen at random from all qualified entries.
8. All giveaways and contests are void where prohibited by law. All local, state, and federal regulations apply. As a licensee of the FCC and a trustee of the public airwaves, Townsquare Media reserves the right to interrupt and/or discontinue any contest or promotion (and not award the offered prize) at the discretion of Townsquare Media management if world events, the national mood, or public safety so warrant. Townsquare Media reserves the right to disqualify any winner if the contest rules have been violated in any way. Townsquare Media reserves the right to amend the rules to any contest at any time.
