Worst Missouri Attraction You Have to See to Believe
Missouri is home to some truly great attractions, the Gateway Arch, Crown Center in Kansas City, Arrowhead Stadium, and Busch Stadium, to name a few. However, according to Far and Wide, there’s one attraction considered the worst in the entire state.
That distinguished honor goes to the Largest Fork in the State, located in Springfield. The phrase 'stick a fork in it' feels like an understatement here. But here’s the weird part: it’s not even the largest fork in the country. That title belongs to Colorado, where a towering 40-foot fork claims the record.

History of The Largest Fork in Missouri
Built in 1990 by an advertising agency for a restaurant, the fork was moved to the agency’s new Food Network building after the restaurant closed. You can’t see it from the street, but you can park in the lot and walk over to get your photos taken.

Surprisingly, the fork isn’t the only large landmark in Springfield. You can also visit the giant noodle, the largest golf club, the beautiful butterfly mural, and the History Museum on the Square Train.
