Hot enough to fry an egg on the concrete? I don’t know if we are there yet, but in Cape Girardeau, Missouri Siemers Dr, right in between car dealerships had enough and turned into a giant speed bump.

The video shows the moment of rupture and a car moving down the road that can’t stop quick enough and gets launched a little through the air. The following vehicles crept over the buckle in the road that effectively turned the road into a ramp.

It’s going to be very hot all week in Missouri (and most everywhere else in the Midwest). Yes, it’s early for this kind of heat around here, just keep cool and hydrated, check on your neighbors and loved ones, and don’t forget your outdoor pets – they’re wearing a coat in this heat.
