The two NFL legends with multiple Super Bowl rings popped up in rural Johnson County Missouri at Crest Ridge High School this week to shoot a TV commercial together for T-Mobile.

T-Mobile is again having a national contest called “Friday Night 5G Lights” to help out a small town (less than 150,000 population) high school with facility upgrades. Crest Ridge was one of the 16 finalists from last year where people got to vote online for the most deserving school and program to win the grand prize.

Ultimately Inola High School in Oklahoma won the grand prize last season and secured improvements to their scoreboard and weight room amongst other fixes. Crest Ridge missed out on the Grand prize, but did win $25,000 for football infrastructure. The consolation prize though is hosting this season’s promotional commercial.

Contest starts July 17. Each Friday during the season some schools will win a $5000 for 5K Fridays. Last year 300 small town high schools won $5000. Then, 16 select finalist schools will score $25,000 for enhancements, and on October 30 one school will win the grand prize.
