Missouri Town Named the Least Cozy in America, But They’re Wrong
Sometimes the internet just gets it completely wrong and this is a great example. A very historic Missouri town was just named one of the least cozy places in America and I must now debate them because I think they're absolutely wrong.
Let's start with the positives. I think the We Go Dating website put together an interesting list of the most cozy small towns in America. Rocheport, Missouri was one of the choices and it's excellent. But, take a look at the big blue circle in the southern part of Missouri along the river. That blue stands for "least cozy" allegedly.
Surely they can't be serious when they say that Sainte Genevieve, Missouri is one of the least cozy places in America? It was founded between 1735 and 1740 and is older than America. How can you call a place that does such a great job maintaining its historic vibe as "not cozy". Give me a break.
There are only two possibilities here. Either they've never been to Ste. Genevieve, Missouri or they don't know what cozy is. I understand that Ste. Genevieve may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's the one Missouri place that in my opinion still has a kind of southern charm to it. Dare I call it cozy? Someone needs to.
