Popular Missouri Brewery Announces Sudden Closure
I have always been a fan of the underdog which is why I'm sad to pass along the news that a small Missouri brewery has decided it will close its doors in just a few weeks which surprised many of their fans.
If you're a brewery fan that adventures in the St. Louis area, you've probably visited this small microbrewery
This is Arch Nemesis Brewing located at 17081 North Outer 40 Road, #208 in Chesterfield, Missouri. On their Facebook page, they shared the following big goal a few years ago:
"Watch as we try to turn a love of science, beer, engineering, and cooking from a hobby into a 100-million dollar microbrewery: might as well aim high, right?"
Sadly, a few days ago, they announced they were not currently in a position to chase that dream due to numerous changes in their own lives and overall trends in the craft brewing industry saying they were closing their tasting room at the end of November 2025.
Last time I checked, there were dozens of comments from fans in disbelief that they would soon be gone, but it does seem like they're holding out hope that they'll find a new location and perhaps a better business environment in the future. Let's hope that small breweries like this can find a way to make a go of it as they are the heart of the Midwest and its rich history of tasty brews.
