Breakfast & Lunch Favorite in Missouri Just Closed Forever

It's not easy being a restaurant in Missouri even if you have a loyal breakfast and lunch crowd. Yet another Missouri eatery has decided to call it a day and closed their doors forever just a few days ago.

I saw this sad status update from Jovick Brothers Cafe in St. Louis a couple weeks ago. They were announcing that they were about to shut down in mid-June.

If you've been down Broadway in St. Louis, you've likely seen this corner cafe.

June 13, 2025 was their last day of service in St. Louis as they confirmed in another Facebook/Meta update.

The good news for the brothers is their burger location will remain open at 4993 Loughborough Avenue in St. Louis. Back to the original point. With staffing and food prices and the overall economy, it's not easy being a restaurant in Missouri these days. Let's hope things look up as mom and pop places like this move forward into the future.
