
Ribbon-cutting Ceremony Held for Elara Caring
Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors welcomed Elara Caring to the Bomgaars Shopping Plaza on Oct. 18 at noon with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Following a facebook interview with Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Debra Andresen, a red ribbon was cut by Bonnie Schoonover, RN and branch director.
The local Elara Caring office in Sedalia serves the areas of Warrensburg, Warsaw, Chillicothe, Clinton, Brunswick, Norborne, St. Jo, Holden, Marshall, Lexington and Carrollton, to name a few locations.
“And that’s just this branch. We actually cover every county in Missouri,” said Matt Smith, BS, CBDE, regional branch director, adding that “we actually have locations in St. Louis, Kirksville, Poplar Bluff, Jefferson City Kansas City and Springfield.”
Elara Caring is an in-home company takes care of the elderly and those with Dementia or Alzheimer’s, including bathing, cleaning, running errands, laundry and respite care, noted Tara Burgess, Sedalia branch supervisor.
She said that the Marshall office was closed and moved to Sedalia.
