The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled over 30,000 kids' bike helmets because they are considered unsafe to wear. The release states that the helmets may fail in a crash, posing a high risk of head injury.
The good news is that no major injuries have been reported so far. However, if you have one of these helmets, it is recommended that you return it to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

Who Sells the Bell Sports Helmets?
These helmets were sold at Missouri Walmart, Target, Amazon.com, Target.com, and other retailers that carry outdoor equipment. They were available from September 2024 through May 2025 for around $20.
