Farmer’s Almanac Says Missouri Fall Will Be Unusual
You have to be careful when you say something in Missouri will be strange because my birth state is known for being unusual on a good day. However, Farmer's Almanac has just released its forecast for Fall and they are warning Missouri to prepare for the unexpected.
I always enjoy hearing predictions from Farmer's Almanac because there are two camps who almost immediately become vocal. There are those who believe that Farmer's Almanac is always right because they apply weather knowledge from actual farmers combined with history to determine what future weather will do. The other crowd believes this is all hogwash and it's fun to watch the two groups debate. They should have a good time discussing the new Fall Weather Forecast 2025 as it includes interesting words about Missouri.
What does Farmer's Almanac say about Fall in Missouri?
Missouri comes under their "heartland" region which they say will start out in September not feeling like Fall at all, but more like summer has been with high temperatures. Give me a break - literally. The Farmer's Almanac is predicting that Missouri won't really experience Fall weather until October at the earliest in 2025. Does this also mean that Missouri will start winter later than usual? Asking for a friend (and his snow shovel).
It's worth mentioning that Farmer's Almanac got their forecast for Missouri's summer pretty much spot on. "Scorching" is a good description of what Missouri has experienced so far.
Will Missouri's Fall really be warmer than normal? That would not surprise me at all as 2025 has already been the year of the strange getting stranger all the time.
