Study Reveals Where Missouri Travelers Want to Vacation Most

Maybe Florida, Texas, or even the Gulf Shores in Alabama come to mind, but a new study reveals that Missouri's top travel hotspot for 2025 is Los Angeles. Not that I don't think LA is a great city, but I am not sure that many Missourians wait all year for vacation to go to LA. With all the great places to visit, LA would have been my last guess.

So Many Places To Travel

A majority of the nation is traveling overseas, which only reinforces my point: why are so many Missourians choosing Los Angeles? My best guess is that they’re flying to LA to catch another flight abroad or to board a cruise. That has to be the reason.

The study, conducted by Google Trends, looked at data from January 1 to February 27, 2025, which might actually support my theory that people are flying to LA just to catch another flight to an international destination.
