Mahome’s Sets Chiefs 2024 Season Goal At Kelce Jam
Kansas City Chiefs Quarter Back Patrick Mahomes used his appearance at Kelce Jam to once again rile up Chiefs fans positively by talking about the team's goal for the 2024 season.
For those unfamiliar, Kelce Jam is a music festival curated by Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and a company called Medium Rare. This year's festival included Lil Wayne, Diplo, and 2 Chainz. This is according to the Arrowhead Pride website.
According to Arrowhead Pride, Kelce did what either of the Kelce Brothers would do at an event like this. He was out talking to the crowd, giving away free Wingstop to hungry festival goers and, well, doing shots of Jim Beam with fans. Also in attendance was Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Mahomes joined Kelce on stage after 2 Chainz performance of "Birthday" and the three danced and laughed on stage together, before 2 Chainz offered his congratulations and walked off the stage, according to a report from Page Six.
At that point Page Six Mahomes and Kelce took center stage to DJ Khaled's famous song, "All I Do is Win" and Klece screamed an introduction of Mahomes into the microphone. After telling the fans that he and Kelce loved them, he let the Chiefs faithful know what the teams goal for this season is.
“We wanted to let you all know that back-to-back (Super Bowl championships) isn’t good enough. You know what we’re going for? Three of ’em," Page Six reported.
On the red carpet for the Kelce Jam Page Six reports that Kelce was excited that Kansas City keeps showing up and showing out for the Chiefs and their players. At the start of the evening Kelce told Page Six that right now is the best time of his life, although, he said it in a less family-friendly way than I just wrote.
The Kansas City Chiefs will start their campaign for back-to-back-to-back Super Bowl victories On Thursday night September 9 at 7:20 PM in Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium.
