A Sedalia man was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday morning in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2015 Ford Mustang, driven by a 41-year-old man from Lake Ozark, was at US 50 and Route MM around 10:30 a.m., when the Mustang failed to stop for a red light and struck the driver's side of a southbound 2006 Mercury Montego, driven by a 41-year-old man from Sedalia.

The Sedalia man suffered minor injuries and was treated and released on scene.
