Numerous Noise Complaints Leads to New ‘Jake Brakes’ Ordinance
Sedalia City Council approved a new ordinance prohibiting the use of unmuffled engine braking systems, commonly referred to as “Jake Brakes” within city limits, by a vote of 7-0 Monday night.
