A special ceremony was held Thursday evening by Sedalia Parks & Rec to celebrate the recently completed $2.6 million renovation of Dey Field at Liberty Stadium.
Cheryl Ames began her term of local government service Monday night after being sworn in as Sedalia’s newest City Council member by City Clerk Jason Myers.
A commercial-grade glass pulverizer will be used to process used glass into reusable materials for local construction and infrastructure projects such as roads, trails, landscaping, parks & composting.
It was noted by Mayor Dawson that the cost of the armored vehicle is $299,950, and the transportation cost is $7,980 on top of that. He also noted that $50,000 in restricted safety equipment funds were secured.
Voters have chosen incumbents Tom Oldham and Bob Cross, and newcomers Lee Scribner and Michelle Franklin to represent them on the Sedalia City Council.
