The Perfect Home Steamed Hot Dog

My life changed the day before second grade started and my sitters' Nancy and Sue got me to try a hot dog at Premo's Drive In. Until this time I had never tried a hot dog. Basically, when it came to fast food, I liked french fries, shakes, and hash browns from McDonald's. And the chicken sandwich from Burger King. Not being an adventurous eater I asked for a plain hot dog. And that's what I got. Except I got a steamed plain hot dog. On a poppy seed bun. And it tasted delicious.
