Warsaw Man Injured When Motorcycle Strikes Deer
A Warsaw man was injured in a motorcycle accident that happened Thursday night in Benton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 47-year-old Barry G. Markel of Warsaw was on Weaver Church Avenue, south of Highway 83 around 7 p.m., when his 2014 Yamaha XT50 struck a deer in the roadway.

Markel suffered serious injuries and was flown by Lifeflight Eagle to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
