Behka’s Secret Stash: Devendra Banhart

Kids, today's Stash is something that I thought was appropriate for our wintertime.  It's freggin cold outside.  You know it, I know it.  This song expresses how he hates the cold, and wants to be warm.  He wants his future children to be warm.  So, they will never have haircuts!  EVER!

Devendra Banhart is an eccentric young songwriter and guitarist, but very talented.  He reminds me of the kind of late '60s mellow types that would rock out something fierce, but the song would be about avocados or something.  This song is an older one, off an album from the mid 2000's called Cripple Crow.  This is very much a hippie rock kind of style and song, and I hope you enjoy it.
