Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri is inviting area residents to spend an evening under the stars during the 34th annual auction gala, presented by The W-K Family of Dealerships.

Tickets are now on sale for the “Starry Night”-themed event which includes live musical entertainment, live and silent auctions, new games and raffles and more.

“An Evening Under The Stars is going to be full of fun and surprises,” said Assistant Director of Development Gabby White. “The Van Gogh, Starry Night theme really lends itself to a beautiful evening of elegance. Last year’s auction was our most well-attended and we hope to continue that and sell out this year.”

Back by popular demand, the evening’s entertainment will be provided by Superstar Mafia, a cover band out of Kansas City, which brought the house down last year.

“We had so many compliments on Superstar Mafia and the fun energy they brought to the auction last year, we knew we had to bring them back,” White said. “Our live and silent auctions are also really shaping up to be fun and different this year; we have several all-inclusive vacation packages, signed Kansas City Chiefs items, family-friendly packages and more.”

An Evening Under The Stars will be held February 17 at the Missouri Agriculture Building on the Missouri State Fairgrounds. Doors open at 5 p.m. for VIP ticket holders and at 6 p.m. for the general public. Tickets are $75 per person and include dinner, cash bar and access to games and auction items. Silent auction items will also be available to bid online for those unable to attend.
