CoC Church Luncheon

Church Women United of Sedalia announces the May Friendship Day Celebration will be held Friday, May 3^rd at 12:00 with a noon Luncheon.  Christian women will gather to celebrate women working together.  This year the celebration will be held at Community of Christ Church, 2000 S. Ingram, tickets are $8.00 and may be purchased at the door. The action project is “Swinging into spring with new life”.  Please bring gently used clothing, etc. or new items for newborns to be shared with Birthright and There is Hope Ministries.  Both are local groups providing for the needs of children in our community.

An offering will be taken during the worship service and will be used in Missouri and shared equally between the local CWU and State CWU.  It is called the “Fellowship of the Least Coin” (pennies, change) will be received worldwide.  These coins represent prayers offered for situations in need of peace, love and reconciliation.
