Sedalia Kiwanis One Day

One Saturday April 5th, the Sedalia Kiwanis Club will join members from around the world for a day of hands-on community service that is felt around the world. It’s called Kiwanis One Day. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time and here is Sedalia, local Kiwanians will host a project to help keep kids safer.  The Sedalia Kiwanis Club will sponsor a child seat safety checkpoint event. The event will be held from 10am until 2pm in the front parking lot of the main branch of Third National Bank located at 301 West Broadway.  Car seat specialists with the Sedalia Police Department, the Sedalia Fire Department and the Pettis County Health Center will help parents correctly install child car safety For more information on Kiwanis One Day, contact Bob Milner, 660-827-5442
