SPARK to Host ‘Hamfest’ Saturday

SPARK, or Sedalia Pettis Amateur Radio Klub, will host a “Hamfest” Saturday, Oct. 14 from 8 a.m., to 12 p.m., at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 3700 W. Broadway.

Vendors from three states will be there.

Over $1,000 in prizes will be given away, including three new ham radios.

“Hamfest” is the perfect place to buy, sell or trade radio equipment.
Anyone interested in learning how to become a licensed amateur radio operator is welcome to attend.

Admission is $5.

Breakfast will be served at the event.
