A Liberty man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday afternoon in Henry County.

 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2024 Freightliner M2 106 was on Route C, one mile north of Missouri 7,  around 1:30 p.m., when the driver lost control on the wet pavement and ran off the right side, the ran off the left side and returned before running off the right side again. The truck rotated counterclockwise and overturned on its right side, coming to rest across both lanes of Route C, facing southeast.

The 45-year-old driver from Liberty suffered minor injuries and was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital by Golden Valley EMS.

The Freightliner had moderate damage and was towed by a wrecker out of Clinton.
