Marshall Woman Injured in Rear-end Collision
A Marshall woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Monday afternoon in Saline County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2009 Ford F-150, driven by 57-year-old James W. O'Bryan of Marshall, was on Route H, between Mahogany and Longview Ave., around 2:30 p.m., when he slowed down for a utility worker. That's when a westbound 2009 Toyota Prius, driven by 26-year-old Chelsey A. Green, also of Marshall, crested a hill, skidded on the wet roadway and struck the Ford in the rear. Green suffered minor injuries, and was transported by Saline County EMS to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment.

The Ford had minor damage, while the Toyota had moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
Marshall Fire assisted the Patrol.
