You can enjoy some good live music for a great cause this Saturday (October 13) at Dickie Doo BBQ.  Mojo Roots will be performing at the Leukemia Benefit for Leo Blackmore, raising money to help the 3-year-old leukemia patient's family with medical bills and expenses.  There's no cover charge for the event, and tickets are only $1.  You can pick them up at Dickie Doo or call 660-221-9787.

Leo lives in Greenridge, Missouri with his parents Tad and Priscilla Blackmore.  He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on September 13, 2012. He is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment at Children's Mercy in Kansas City.

Several area business have donated prizes that will be given away during a raffle at the event.  Make sure you pick up a raffle ticket for your chance to win some great prizes.  Event organizer Rachel Hinkle would like to thank all of the businesses that donated prizes to this great cause.
