Portion of 16th Street Closed This Week in Sedalia

According to the City of Sedalia, East 16th Street will be closed to through traffic from South Ohio Avenue to South Ingram Avenue Monday, June 23, through Monday, June 30, to allow for scheduled work in the area.

UPDATE:

Milling operations are underway and East 16th Street is currently closed from South Ingram Avenue to South Engineer Avenue. This section will remain closed through Thursday, June 26.

Starting Monday, June 30, crews will begin milling and paving the section of East 16th Street from South Ohio Avenue to South Engineer Avenue. That portion of the street will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the work from 6 a.m., to 6 p.m.

"Please plan alternate routes and use caution in construction zones. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve Sedalia’s streets," the City said.
