A Centerview man was injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Jackson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2018 Dodge Ram Promaster, driven by 66-year-old David K. Rapp of Warrensburg, was on US 50, east of Sam Moore Road around 4:40 p.m., when Rapp slowed down for traffic and an eastbound 2018 Ford F-150, driven by 25-year-old Christopher Barnes Haggard of Centerview, failed to slow down and drove into the rear of the Dodge Ram.

Haggard suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by Lone Jack Fire personnel.
