Soccer Grems Lose to Oak Grove, 3-0

The fourth-seeded Sacred Heart Gremlins soccer team lost 3-0 to Oak Grove at the opening game of Class 2 District 6 soccer at Odessa.

Playing in cold and rainy conditions, the Gremlins struggled to coordinate scoring attempts. The Panthers led 1-0 at halftime and scored twice in the second half to claim the victory.

Oak Grove is now 11-11.

Sacred Heart ended up with a 12-10-1 record.

Oak Grove faces #1 seed Excelsior Springs Tuesday at 5 p.m.
