South Ingram Overlay Work Noted by City of Sedalia

Beginning on Sunday, July 21 and continuing through Thursday, July 25, the City of Sedalia’s Public Works Operations Division will be overlaying asphalt on South Ingram Avenue from East 16th Street south to the south city limits.

During this period, road construction will result in the roadway being closed to through traffic. Drivers in the area will want to use an alternate route to avoid delays.

Residents living along this roadway will need to coordinate with City Crews on site should they need access to their driveways. Asphalt work will begin each evening at 6 p.m., and continue through 6 a.m.

Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway during this period. Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion.
