There are 8 families in Missouri now dealing with the unimaginable reality of not knowing where their kids are.

9 Missouri kids have gone missing just in the past 30 days.

10 Missouri families are suddenly dealing with a parent's worst nightmare.

I'm not certain why there appears to be a sudden uptick of Missouri kids that have gone missing, but it's certainly a disturbing turn of events.

Alerts for a missing young teenager from Halifax, Virginia, have made their way to Missouri as authorities believe the young teenager may be on her way to the state or may already be in the state. Posts regarding the missing girl first appeared in area Facebook groups like The Burg and Best of Sedalia early this morning...

I accept that this world has problems, but this is the one issue that troubles me the most. As you go through your day, there are 10 Illinois families who do not know where their children are, but there's hope that someone will have information that will bring them home safely.

Even one missing child is one too many. For 5 Wisconsin families, this is now their reality as their children went missing in the month of May alone. There's hope someone has information that will help authorities bring them home safely.
