Isn't it bizarre that there have been no confirmed mountain lion sightings in Missouri for a full 7 months? Or have there?

As you might imagine, it's big news when there are mountain lion sightings in Missouri. But, it's also news when these big cats seemingly have completely disappeared from the state and that's exactly what's happened so far in 2024.

It's not common to see a mountain lion in Missouri especially a young one, but that appears to have happened near rural Edgewood based on a video shared by a Missouri man.

There seem to be an increasing number of sightings of mountain lions in Missouri and now there is yet another. This time the big kitty cat was spotted in Reynolds County, Missouri.

It seems this list is now growing almost daily. The state of Missouri now has 194 confirmed mountain lion sightings in the state since 1994. 7 of those have been reported just this year.
