Sedalia 200 School District and area first responders will conduct a fictitious active shooter training exercise at Smith-Cotton High School on July 9.
The Sedalia 200 School Board met at Smith-Cotton High School on Monday night to approve several bids and discuss the possibility of adding armed guards to buildings in the district.
The induction ceremony was held Thursday, May 10 in the Heckart Performing Arts Center. Dr. Maurice (Gene) Kelley II and David Turner became the newest members of the hall, which recognizes outstanding performers, educators and supporters from S-C’s arts programs.
Smith-Cotton High School theatre students will host the 4th annual Theatre for a Cause performance on February 15. with the proceeds to benefit the Community Café.
