The CW has enough superheroes for one lifetime, between Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, to say nothing of DC outliers like FOX’s Gotham. Well, get ready for another superhero (or villain?) to join the ranks in 2017, as those in the know say there’s another DC TV series on the way

Now that The CW’s four-way “Invasion!” crossover is behind us, Flash and Supergirl fans have the two-part musical crossover to look forward to in 2017. Some wild rumors early on suggested Joss Whedon might direct the crossover with Neil Patrick Harris reprising a famous role, but the Unfortunate Events star doesn’t seem to know much of anything about it.

Picture it: your sitting by the fire, flipping through an old issue of Sandman, and your mother audibly sighs. "Why do you still read that junk?" You sit and think for a second. Despite the fact that approximately all of the movies coming out are based on comics, you still can't get your mom to understand why you love these funny books. Until now. This holiday season, give your mom a gift that'll teach her the love of comics.

Now that all the extended trailers and sneak peeks are out in the open, we still need Supergirl to kick off the big “Invasion!” crossover this coming Monday. So it is with our first “Medusa” clip, that Thanksgiving dinner gets a very Flash-y entrance at an unexpected moment.

We’ve less than a week before DC’s alien Dominators begin the four-part “Invasion” of Supergirl, Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, but given at least half of The CW’s DC dramas traffic in time-travel, the invasion may already have begun. Like, World War II-begun. See for yourself, in a cryptic “found footage” teaser.

If there’s one thing Supergirl got shortchanged on, it’s hanging out with all the various heroes of The CW’s DC dramas. No longer, as our first new crossover “Invasion!” footage features Kara Zor-El blissfully meeting the heroes and Legends of another universe.

The first major crossover between Arrow and The Flash didn’t bother with too much story in common, while the second largely served to set up Legends of Tomorrow, so what happens when all three get together for one story? Matching titles! See for yourself, as one unifying threat brings together Flash, Arrow and Legends for the crossover event, shared title and all.

Now that all four of The CW’s DC series have begun their fall seasons, fans of Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow are naturally looking for setup of the big four-way crossover in the coming months. We know DC’s alien Dominators will serve as the big bad, for which producer Marc Guggenheim teases their intent for the various Earths.

We’ll only have three or so episodes to spend together when Arrow, Flash and Legends of Tomorrow crossover with Supergirl, and we’d be happy to spend all three with the disparate personalities paling around. It may take some time to get there, however, as producers say not everyone from the Arrow-verse will be so excited to meet the Girl of Steel.
