Pettis County is in a high-transmission, low-vaccination area.

This time we're not tipping our hat for the notoriety that the Show-Me State is getting. It concerns the increasing number of COVID-19 cases and unfortunately Missouri is at the top of the pack of new cases, and the low number of vaccinations.

Panera bread is participating in the National Month of Action, an incentive program to get as many adults as possible to receive at least one dose of the vaccine by the 4th of July.

BRHC will host a community vaccination clinic from 3 to 7 p.m. April 1 at the Missouri State Fairgrounds to administer the free COVID-19 vaccine to eligible Missouri residents.
