The National Weather Service in Kansas City released their Thanksgiving travel forecast for Missouri. If you're traveling, ensure you have a jacket; we expect a little snow.

The good news is that while colder conditions are expected starting on Thanksgiving, there will be no problematic weather through Thursday.

If you're traveling tomorrow, Wednesday, November 26, 2024, West Central Missouri can expect some light rain. The National Weather Service says the chance of light precipitation is 30-60% throughout the day and into the evening. Northern Missouri may see some snow mix with the rain Wednesday night; however, no snow accumulation is expected.

A clipper system on Saturday could bring some light snow to the area, so if you're traveling, be aware of that.
