So, Boyfriendo and I are not going on a honeymoon.  Well, at least not this year.  It's too pricey!  But that doesn't stop me from dreaming.  So I've been looking throughout the internet about good places to go.

Well,  so really I've just found places I DON'T want to go.  Travel & Leisure magazine just released their list of America’s 15 Rudest Cities. In a survey of America’s Favorite Places, readers ranked big cities for their museums, restaurants and bars, how walkable a city is, safety, and how cordial the locals seem.

The biggest surprise is that New York City is no longer the most rude and only three of the top 15 are in the Northeast.  You know, when I was there on vacation some ten years ago, I didn't come across very many rude people.  There was one cab driver who was a bit.... well, no, he was just rude.  But other than that, people were nice in my experience.

Travel & Leisure cautions that, “rudeness in cities on the list can be in the eye of the beholder.” See if you agree.

1. Miami, Florida
2. Phoenix, Arizona
3. New York City, New York
4. Los Angeles, California
5. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
6. Salt Lake City, Utah
7. Boston, Massachusetts
8. Dallas, Texas
9. Colorado Springs, Colorado
10. Ann Arbor, Michigan
11. Detroit, Michigan
12. Las Vegas, Nevada
13. Providence, Rhode Island
14. Charlotte, North Carolina
15. Scottsdale, Arizona

So there you have it.  New York fell from number 1 to number 3 on the list of Rudest American Cities. In fact, the top city changes daily depending on where Donald Trump is.   Have you ever travelled around and found people rude?  What happened?  Where were you?

Honeymoonily yours,
Behka
